As the Lead React Engineer, you will help the team to build out digital products for new diseases, whilst maintaining and upgrading their current product suite. You will collaborate closely with other engineers to architect and build new solutions with React & Typescript, implement the latest and greatest development processes, mentor junior developers and work alongside the leadership team and UX, to define strategies, for better scaling Health Care professional and patient oriented products.

Responsibilities:

Creation of test reports and support the Head of technology in completing regulatory documentation Work to implement new and best development practices Work closely with product, design and backend engineers to design and implement new user-facing product features Design, build and maintain readable and reliable code with React, TypeScript and JavaScript Maintain and continuously improve process and tooling for code quality, automated testing, CI/CD and release Management Monitor and support production applications when issues and bugs arise (Senior-level responsibility) Define the standards for React applications in terms of coding standards, libraries to be used and architecture (Senior-level responsibility) Be a partner for tech leadership and UX to define strategies for better scaling Health Care professional and patient oriented products (Senior-level responsibility) Support and mentor other frontend engineers and backend engineers(for the frontend related tasks) of the team Code revises and reviews

Your experience:

Minimum 5 years exp with Typescript & React, the team uses V18.3.1 Minimum 2 years’ experience with Software leadership Extensive production experience using React to build and maintain complex web applications. Solid HTML and CSS knowledge, ability to implement best UI/UX practices and cross-browser compatibility. Deep understanding of the strengths and limitations of TypeScript and JavaScript Experience with React Hooks and Context to manage state and integrate with Backend APIs Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines, the team uses Circle CI Experience ensuring a high standard of quality through unit, integration and E2E testing such as Playwright, Cypress or similar frameworks. The team uses Playwright & Jest Solid understanding of security best practices for web Knowledge of agile practices such as continuous delivery, TDD, pair programming, code reviews and retrospectives Keen to learn and improve technical and personal skills

Bonus to have

Knowledge and experience of using NextJS framework Experience working with AWS cloud Knowledge of or experience in high tech / scale-up / med tech scene in EU an advantage. You have worked on products in the Software as a Medical Device or other regulated industries.
